Omar Jelani Noel is a musician, screenwriter, and teacher. He has performed at the La Mama Theatre,Lehman Stages, and LIU Brooklyn Media Arts. Over the past five years Omar has worked as a playwright, actor, pianist, stage manager, and educator in theatres and schools throughout New York City. Omar currently teaches music and general subjects at K-12 schools in Brooklyn, Queens, and Bronx. He works creatively with a digital network company specializing in creative veterans’ assistance programs. Omar received an MFA in Writing and Producing for the Television Series in May 2019. He continues to work in the arts
